What Is Invisalign?

Invisalign is an easy custom-designed clear aligner made to assist in

straightening the teeth. Unlike traditional braces which contain visible metal wires, Invisalign aligners are easy to use and are clear which make them

virtually transparent. Invisalign aligners are easy to take out, so you can keep

eating as you normally would, they also don’t disrupt your daily brushing and

flossing. The aligners will gradually cause your teeth to shift their position over a period. You will continue to change the aligners throughout your treatment, which will allow your teeth to move. Over the time of months, your teeth will straighten into the proper positions as prescribed by the dental practitioner.

What are the most common treatable cases with Invisalign are?

  • Overbite: Upper front teeth close in front of the lower teeth.

  • Underbite: Lower teeth protrude past upper front teeth.

  • Crossbite: Upper and lower jaws don’t line up.

  • Gap teeth: Extra spaces between teeth.

  • Open bite: Top and bottom teeth don’t meet.

  • Crowded teeth: There isn’t enough room in the jaw for teeth to fit normally.

  • Baby and permanent teeth: Phase 1 orthodontic treatment for growing children with a mix of baby and permanent teeth.

  • Generally straighter teeth: When you just want a more beautiful smile.
